Statement
I'm Esteban
Clisson, a French-Mexican designer, raised in Spain and currently based in
Milan. My practice is driven by encounters. Researching how materials,
typologies and spatial conditions shape perception, I’m always seeking to create
new rituals and modes of inhabitating that expand the possibilities of everyday
experience.
Influenced
by philosophy, poetry and visual culture, I’m interested in creative processes
that balance intuition and analysis. Approaching design as a dialogue, form and
function follow the situations I want to create, because I believe objects can generate
new territories that invite alternative ways of relating to the world around us.
I’m currently looking for opportunities and collaborations within interdisciplinary and research-driven environments. Feel free to reach out via email or Instagram.

Through the streets of Milan, inside of the exhibitions, outside of private events where we were not invited, we started and recorded conversations. These conversations shaped the theory of a book, and here, you will read the collective thoughts about the theory of design.
